Ashford 32" Rigid Heddle Loom with Stand

Used 32" rigid heddle loom & stand in very good condition. Made of New Zealand silverbeech and finished with a cherry stain except for beam sticks and front and back beams. Weaving width is 32". Exact width is 41" (including shelf-trays), height is 33 1/4" and depth is 24 3/4". Antique Distaffs

We have been told these two distaffs come from Russia.

#1 (right on photo) looks to be very old and primitive. It is 42" long. Price: $52 (shipping is extra).
#2 (left on photo) is hand-carved with cutouts in the shape of a cross and a heart. It is 37 1/2" long. Price: $69 (shipping is extra).

Model A/6 is a good choice as a first loom; its weaving width is 22" (exact width: 28") and it folds from 32" to a depth of 13"; it comes with four harnesses and six treadles. As with all Harrisville looms, it also features the easy-to-use "snap chain" tie-up system. The loom easily folds with the warp in place. Includes wheels, 400 heddles and tool tray. Weight: 60 lbs.

Leclerc Nilus II 45" Counterbalance Loom

This loom is approximately 5 years old, in new condition, assembled and available for pick-up in Murfreesboro, NC (about 2 hours NE of Raleigh/Durham, 1 1/2 hours SW of Virginia Beach, 2 hours south of Richmond, VA). Weaving width is 45"; the loom, made of Canadian maple, has 4 harnesses and 1200 wire heddles. This is a counterbalance loom, ideal for weaving rugs. It comes with an integrated shed regulator (so you can easily use one harness against 3), non-sliding polyvinyl foot pads under the uprights, a friction brake, and front and back aprons. The front beam, back beam and warp beam are removable. Included are a 12-dent reed and 2 lease sticks. Loom width is 55", height is 58 1/2" (front height 34 1/2"). Depth when opened is 48" and when folded, 27 1/2". Net weight is 150 lbs. This is a sturdy loom.
