NEW! Schacht Ladybug Spinning Wheel

Cute as a bug! Made in the U.S. of 1/2" plywood (with a maple flyer and red-orange plastic drive wheel) and finished with a Danish oil, the Schacht Ladybug spinning wheel comes to you almost assembled. It is a Scotch tension wheel with double drive option. It includes 2 whorls, 3 bobbins, threading hook, poly drive band and double drive band. Wheel diameter: 16"; Orifice: 3/8"; Ratios: 7, 9, 10.5 & 12.5 to 1; weight: 12.5 lbs; height: 29". You can use your Matchless bobbins and whorls on this portable wheel!

Optional: tensioned attached Lazy Kate (attaches easily to the front leg & accommodates up to 4 bobbins), slow speed whorl, high speed whorl, extra bobbins (regular and high speed - see below under "bobbins").

Schacht Matchless Spinning Wheel

Made in the U.S. of hard maple and walnut and finished with a Danish oil, the Schacht Matchless spinning wheel comes to you almost assembled. It includes a Lazy Kate (the "Industrious Kate"), 2 whorls, 4 bobbins and an adjustable carrying strap which makes it handy to transport. It features self-aligning bronze bearings and double drive with alternate scotch tension option. Wheel diameter: 191/2"; Orifice: 3/8"; Ratios: 9:1, 11:1, 13:1 and 15.5:1.

Options: slow speed whorl (6:1 & 7.5:1); hi-speed whorl and bobbin (17.5:1 & 19.5:1); super high speed whorl (18.5 & 22 to 1); exceptionally high speed whorl (23.5 & 27.5 to 1); extra regular and hi-speed bobbins; wheel cart/stroller. Schacht Reeves Spinning Wheels

The new Schacht Reeves 24" Saxony spinning wheel has the following ratios: 4, 11, 12 and 15 to one. It features ball bearings, both scotch tension and double drive modes and includes 3 bobbins that will each hold 3 to 3.5 oz, 2 whorls, a Lazy Kate and a threading hook. Orifice height is 25 1/2" and size is 3/8". Length is 37", total height 38" and depth: 20". The wheel comes finished with a hand-rubbed Danish oil finish and weighs 20 lbs. The flyer on the left is standard but the flyer on the right is an option at no extra charge.
